Cycle of Real Estate

Cycle of Real Estate

Each year in real estate shows a cycle where sales are the strongest.  This coincides with the seasons and weather conditions.  The real estate market is the most active when the weather is warmer, the trees and grass are greener, the flowers are blooming.

In the Auburn/Opelika area, other factors such as great K-12 schools, Auburn University and Southern Union State Community College also have an impact on when homes are purchased.  Graduations are usually at the end of May and schools beginning in August.  Purchasing a new home or condo and getting registered for the new school year are key factors.

The Auburn/Opelika area overall has a very strong market.  It will be interesting to see how this year compares to others in December.
